House of Heroes - Code Name Raven

I'm diggin' this band. They are allegedly a Christian band, but this ain't you're daddy's Christian band.

The song is about a French spy caught up in WWII, while his country is being invaded. The story line is good and everything else is really good. They have a little bit of Beetles in their song writing and music. Here is the bands video synopsis of the song. Very clever, indeed. The song is from the album The End is Not the End.

Actually, I feel this song to be quite appropriate for where we are today in our fight against similar foes.

Since my work is insanely out of control this week, I fear the cop-out post might be a typical occurrence for the next few days.

Other great songs by the band include Angels in Top Hats, and In the Valley of a Dying Sun. Both songs are threaded with musical depth as well as thought provoking lyrics.
