Face Rockin' Music from TFK

I've been busy. Quite. So, in order to dust off the stale from the two day old post, here is one of my favorite Christian Bands.

Rockin' Friday - Get Me Out Of This...

AVALANCHE
by Manafest

Yeah, it's another Christian band and since I feel like I've been in an Avalanche all week, this works.

Day of Fire - The Dark Hills

Heard this the other day. Sort of reminds me of the old seventies rock anthems like Segar or Bad Co or Allman Bros...eh. I do like the song.

Let's just call it a belated Easter thought.

Rock Your Face Off - Southern What?

Left the office at about 8pm. Right as I hit the highway, this song came on the radio. Perfect after a long day staring at a screen, messing around with architects and contractors, trying to satisfy a building owner over the proposed cost of a 500kW prime generator and associated transfer gear and finally, resisting the desire to smash my keyboard over the head of the whistler two cubes down.

Dude on the radio said, "Smokin' southern metal..."

"Smokin'...Southern What?" (FTW is up with this crazy font?)

Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster - Step Up (I'm On It)

Apparently, they are fans of the gangster Ma Barker and her sons, hence the name. Band hails from Alabama and, well, what ever...something about what goes around, comes around or...comes around...something...

...it rocked my face off.

Edit: The hell happened with the font? I can't change the uffed fup size. Fucking Alfredo Garcia!

House of Heroes - Code Name Raven

I'm diggin' this band. They are allegedly a Christian band, but this ain't you're daddy's Christian band.

The song is about a French spy caught up in WWII, while his country is being invaded. The story line is good and everything else is really good. They have a little bit of Beetles in their song writing and music. Here is the bands video synopsis of the song. Very clever, indeed. The song is from the album The End is Not the End.

Actually, I feel this song to be quite appropriate for where we are today in our fight against similar foes.

Since my work is insanely out of control this week, I fear the cop-out post might be a typical occurrence for the next few days.

Other great songs by the band include Angels in Top Hats, and In the Valley of a Dying Sun. Both songs are threaded with musical depth as well as thought provoking lyrics.

Note: Please disregard the work of the digital minions.

A Day of Reverance

Not the kind BO gives to foreign dignitaries (or to himself), but the kind we owe to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Happy Easter to all.
